How to Upgrade Items in Pokemon GO

The Upgrade is one the most important features in Pokemon GO. It allows trainers the chance to transform Porygon2 into Porygon, and to progress in their Pokedex.

This item is rare but can be found by spinning a Photo Disc at a Pokestop, or as a prize at special occasions. But what does this item actually do?

Components

Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, weapons or gathering tools in order to provide them with an additional benefit. They are a crucial component in the crafting process and can be obtained by salvaging or bought from vendors. They can also be found as drops in the game dropped by enemies, or gathered from item spheres. They can be used to upgrade weapons or armor through an upgrade slot.

Utilizing upgrade components to maximize the amount of experience gained when upgrading weapons and gear is essential to reach the highest level of progress in the game. The multiplier of experience for an upgraded item is increased by adding organic components, while mechanical components decrease it. The best combination is a high experience-multiplier organic component followed by a low-experience-multiplier mechanical component. This will increase the amount of experience you acquire and allow you to move on to the next level.

The upgrade process is complicated It's crucial to understand how it works in order to benefit the most from your upgrades. The system keeps a running total of the item you're upgrading. Each component has either a positive or negative multiplier, and once the value reaches a certain threshold the value will be reset to zero.

Additionally the amount of experience gained from each upgrade component is influenced by the hidden rank of the item being upgraded and its multiplier of experience. This means that higher-ranked items are more difficult to upgrade, while lower-ranked items are simpler to upgrade.

When a new hardware upgrade is installed, it's essential to carefully remove all existing connections and fasteners that held the old component in place. Save these for later in a parts tray for easy identification and safe-keeping. Reconnect all cables and wires and connect the power supply. Then, test the computer by switching it on. If everything is connected correctly the computer should start normally. This is an important step to ensure that the new hardware is compatible with your existing systems and will work seamlessly.

Glyphs

Glyphs are an excellent tool to make your gear better, but you have be aware of how to use them properly. Each glyph can be used to improve the substatus, and the higher the rank of a Glyph the more powerful it becomes. Choose wisely because you can only upgrade glyphs once. Glyphs can also be used only once, so they disappear after you use them on an object or artifact.

The most effective glyphs are those that increase the probability of affixing an affix to the desired tier. They are typically found on the most expensive armor, weapons and other accessories. They can also be found on the Paragon Board. They are worth the effort, but aren't always easy to locate.

Glyphs can be found in the Black Lion Chests, or purchased at the Trading Post. Certain glyphs are available for use only once, while others are permanent. The latter are ideal for items that have to be re-rolled frequently. The Glyph of Hope, for instance, lets you increase the chance of acquiring a particular affix when you are enchanting items.

Certain glyphs may also be used to modify existing affixes. This is most common on gloves, boots and belts, which are capable of hosting four different affixes. The Glyph of Insight, for instance, converts the prefix to an experimental affix. This is a helpful tool if you are looking for a high-quality affix in the specific slot or want to maximize damage output.

When you reach the level 50, the structure of the game dramatically changes. You'll no longer be able to rely on the campaign. Instead, you'll have to navigate the Paragon Board, Nightmare Dungeons and grinds that are new to maximize your build.

The most effective glyphs will be ones that correspond to your character's specialization, for example the Exploit Glyph which boosts damage to weak enemies. Control Glyph is another good glyph that boosts damage against enemies that are stunned, frozen or slow. Each symbol has a radius and the radius grows when you upgrade the glyph. This makes glyphs an excellent way to upgrade your gear later in the game.

Reroll tokens

A reroll token is an upgrade item that allows players to alter one of the attributes on an item. It is possible to do this within the item window, by selecting an item and clicking the green button with the arrows that circle. The cost of the reroll depends on the item's rarity.

Reroll tokens can be found in the Mystery Box or as rare drops from skulled monsters. They can be bought from the Trader. You can also obtain them through Events Items or by obtaining them from other players. They can be used to reroll weapons, armors, and rings in increments of two. Rerolling tokens give players the chance to reroll an attribute that is either higher or lower than the previous roll.

In addition to being able to roll upgrades Reroll tokens can also be used to recycle items. Recycling an item can earn players a certain number of points, which will be added to the gauge of level for the item, depending on its popularity. This is a great way to get rid of old, unneeded equipment that hasn't been upgraded.

The rerolling token could be used to provide a new weapon trait. The player can choose to accept or reject these traits. The player is able to provide a total of six items at once and the variety of choices increases as the item's level and rarity rise. This option is available through the Upgrade tab in the forge.

A reroll token can also be used to roll the set bonus of an item, which can be redeemed if three or more items in the same set are incorporated on the unit. The set bonus can only be applied to units that belong to the same class. It cannot be applied to other classes.

Other upgrade items, such as recipes, can be rerolled. These items are not available in the shop or via Rerolls, but rather are transferred to the non-droppable Pool whenever players select a Food Card requiring new Ingredients or equipment. Reroll tokens can be used to reroll the extra bonuses, however the base stats (including all upgrades) and level remain the same.

Leveling

In the game, you can upgrade your equipment with upgrades to your items. These items can be crafted by obtaining the required ingredients from the NPCs who upgrade items found in major cities. After an item has been upgraded, its base stats will be enhanced. Certain affixes can be modified. This could result in significant increases to the ilvl of an item.

In the top-left corner an icon in blue will appear when an item has been upgraded. The item will also display a number below its maximum level. The maximum level of the item will rise if there are more upgrades. The player can upgrade the item as many times as they want.  item upgrade  allows the player to reach gear breakpoints which boost the reroll probability of certain attachments.

The item upgrading feature allows players to upgrade the level and quality of helmets, weapons, and armor. This process requires items that are then redeemed by the upgrader NPC for currency. The upgrader will show an image of the item's new status and accept either Happy Tickets or Happy Stars to complete the upgrade. The item used as materials will be lost, but the upgraded item will be able to keep its Item EXP for further upgrades.

Although there isn't a 100% sure way to obtain an upgrade however, it has very little chance of dropping when spinning Pokestops and Gyms. Players can also make an Upgrade on a Porygon to transform it into a Porygon2 which will eat the item.

The Upgrade is a special evolution item from the Pokemon series, which was introduced in Generation II. Silph Co. produces a transparent device that can hold all kinds of information. It can be used to develop specific Pokemon species and is activated by trading a Link Cable. It is a very rare item that has an 1% drop rate per spin at Pokestops and Gyms. It is also available by taking part in the Upgrade Station Event.
